SAMPLE CONSULTATION

      • Hospital, surgical practice, or Insurer requests consultation

      • Detailed outline is sent to requesting facility for materials required by OR Dx + Rx for review prior to site visit

      • Team assembled and material from hospital or facility reviewed

      • Site visit scheduled

      • Interviews with medical, nursing, technical, and administrative staff

      • Inspect hospital or facility standards, files, charts, quality reports, critical incident reports

      • Observe practice, flow, facilities and equipment

      • Team discussion and analysis, and preliminary observations conveyed in an exit conference

      • Prepare confidential report and recommendations

      • Assist client in correction processes through three bimonthly telephone conferences

      • Implementation services available through a separate contract on request
